Spring 2025 has been thankfully very dry compared to last year and so the devastation slugs caused then has happily not happened! Plot holders are off to a good start with the glorious May weather.
Our working party was very well attended with at least twenty plot holders, a lot was achieved. Pot holes were filled , The outer perimeter was mowed including the footpath alongside the plots and most of the pathways mowed. Even though the picture below does not seem like a lot of cars, there was no space by 10-30 am!!
We extended the manure bay.
A new half plot was magically created
The wood chip bay was extended
A new half plot was weeded for a new plotholder
A great mornings work achieved by many amazing people.
Produce so far in June
In the meantime here is a tune called BIRDSONG composed by one of our members for your enjoyment..
